London Bagel Museum in London Street, Seoul

It is said that there is a London Street in Seoul, South Korea. Could it really be?

One of the hottest places in Seoul recently is London street(London-dong), Jongno-gu.

In London Street, Jongno-gu, Seoul, the aroma of London may be experienced. It is known as London Street because of the Bagel Cafe in Gye-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, 'London Bagel Museum', which sells bagels. It's a funny nickname. This is a bagel specialty store that was opened by the company that runs Cafe Layered and Cafe Highwest, two well-known for their scones and other pieces of bread.

The London Bagel Museum has turned Gye-dong into a hip place these days.


As soon as it opened, it became a hot topic!

It feels like you've traveled back in time to London for a bagel for breakfast on the street. There are lots of unusual items and opulent interiors that will pique your interest. The various bagels and the personnel's garb are brimming with things that will appeal to your Instagram aesthetic. You may now feel the rush of going abroad since international travel is difficult today. Many Korean already are traveling London street instead.

Sesami Bagel, Spinach Bagel, Jalipino Bagel, Blueberry Bagel, Basil Pesto Bagel, Chia Seed, Potato Cheese Bagel, Pretzel Butter Bagel. Among them, the ‘Brick Lane Bagel’ with cream cheese and honey is the signature menu here. They also sell various types of cream cheese that can be eaten with bagels.

It opens at 8 am, but it tends to sell out early, so it is better to hurry.

The London-dong is also a perfect place to take a break while walking around Gye-dong. There are also many pretty cafés and restaurants around Gye-dong, so please check it out when you visit Jongno-gu, Seoul!
